Keith Gary Sandbloom
USA citizen, Master in Business Administration, is currently Regional Director in Latin America and the Caribbean FINCA Impact Finance. He joined FINCA International, Inc. in two thousand seven, then he has served as COO and CEO at FINCA Zambia, in which he led the process of transform the institution from NGO to a regulated microfinance entity and getting a banking license in two thousand eight, also positioning the company as one of the leading institutions in number of clients and quality of loan portfolio. He was subsequently appointed as CEO in Kosovo, a position he held until two thousand thirteen. Mr. Sandbloom is a specialist in small and medium enterprises and nonprofit institutions. He also worked for Citibank in multiple international designations and also with SunTrust Bank in Washington DC.

Gustavo Romero
Peruvian, he is an expert in development and finance, with more than twenty-five years of experience in these sectors, both in his native Peru and in other countries of the Latin American region. He has an MBA in Finance and Business Administration at the Autonomous University of Madrid, multilingual and with experience in multilateral organizations and banking and financial institutions, both in areas of analysis and administration. Currently is also part of the Board of Directors in other subsidiaries of the FINCA network.

Honduran, Master in Business Administration from INCAE San Pedro Sula, Honduras, currently participates in FINCA’s Boards of Directors at national and international level and is a member of the Audit Committee in two institutions of the FINCA network. She has experience in issues of credit risk management, restructuring of financial mechanisms, supervision and monitoring of financial institutions and has served as a Consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Securities Superintendent at the National Banking and Insurance Commission, Financial Manager at CELTEL and Director of Corporate Banking, Treasury and Financial Comptroller at Banco de la Exportación SA in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

Chikako Kuno

USA citizen, she has a Master’s Degree in Economic Studies from John Hopkins University, she is currently an External Director and member of the Audit Committee for several FINCA institutions worldwide. She is a specialist in global leadership for investments and transformations, strategy and capital increase at the holding level and subsidiaries, mergers and acquisitions. As a FMH official, she established 4 banking subsidiaries of the FINCA network in 2 years, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan (transformation), Pakistan (acquisition), Nigeria (greenfield) and 4 subsidiaries with deposits. She has 30 years of experience working in emerging markets in Eastern Europe, Africa and Latin America. Before joining FINCA, Mrs. Kuno worked for the Peace Corps in Chile and Honduras, for Citibank New York, Inter-American Investment Corporation, Inter-American Development Bank and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development – London.

Daniel Otazo

He is a Computer Engineer from the University of Applied Sciences in Konstanz, Germany, Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Edinburgh in Great Britain, and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) from the University of Charlottesville, United States of America. He has extensive experience in senior management in development banking and corporate banking, has served as Risk Manager at Banco ProCredit Bolivia, CEO at Banco ProCredit Nicaragua, and CEO at Banco de Fomento de la Production in Nicaragua (BFP), among other relevant positions. Mr. Otazo is a Bolivian by birth, a Nicaraguan nationalized.

USA citizen, served as COO for FINCA Impact Finance, where she oversaw key operational functions, including institutional strategic planning, policy management, global reports to the Board of Directors and other stakeholders; she managed FINCA Development Academy (FDA). Before joining FINCA in 2008, Joy was a research assistant in very-small enterprise development division for World Vision International. In addition, she has served on the steering committee of the Washington, DC section of Women Advancing Microfinance and is a member of the Association of Client Experience Professionals (CXPA). Joy has a bachelor’s degree in international studies from Pepperdine University.

Miroslav Mitic

Miroslav Mitic
Serbian, has university education in Finance and Business Administration, with nine years of experience in the banking sector in Europe, Central America and South America, mainly with regard to credit operations for small businesses. He has important skills on credit and business analysis and management skills. He is multilingual.

Laboró para First Horizon Bank, N.A., como Gerente de Banca Comercial y para Wachovia Bank, N.A., como Gerente de Relaciones.
Se integró a la familia de FINCA a partir del 02 de Mayo del año 2018

Se desempeñó como Asesor Legal en jefe de una institución bancaria local por un período de cinco años, antes de su incorporación como Gerente Legal de Financiera FINCA Nicaragua hace ocho años, con lo que cuenta con experiencia de más de doce años en la gestión gerencial de los aspectos legales de instituciones reguladas por la Superintendencia de Bancos, entre otros de la supervisión de abogados externos, asesorar y representar a la institución ante entes superiores, evacuar consultas sobre la interpretación y aplicación de la legislación general y las normas prudenciales emitidas por SIBOIF, y la gestión de gobierno corporativo.

Durante su carrera profesional se ha desempeñado en el área de crédito, gerencia de sucursal, Vicegerencia de Recuperaciones a nivel nacional, y desde el año 2014 como Vicegerente de Negocios en Financiera FINCA Nicaragua y actualmente ocupa el cargo de Gerente de Negocios de la institución.
